I am a first-time home buyer and I started on my home purchasing journey in XX/XX/XXXX. In this process, I have dealt with two loan officers. The last Loan officer I was introduced to by way of a realtor I was working with at the time. The loan officer 's name is XXXX XXXX, she works for IberiaBaknk/First Horizon. Her NMLS ID # XXXX. I was Pre-Approved through XXXX XXXX for a loan amount of {$230000.00}. After being pre-approved through XXXX XXXX I begin house hunting with my then realtor XXXX XXXX. My experience with XXXX XXXX as a first-time homebuyer was frustrating and produced no results for me. After expressing my concerns and frustrations with XXXX XXXX I decided at that time to sever our relationship but continue my financing with IberiaBank/First Horizon. After I discontinued my relationship with XXXX XXXX, I informed XXXX XXXX of my new realtor. After she was informed that I would be working with a new realtor there was a shift in her communication with me, her approach with relaying information to me, her attitude changed for the negative overall. I continued to search for a home on my own and after I had found a home within the pricing of my pre-approval from XXXX XXXX, I informed her of the realtor that would be assisting me with the closing of my contract. At this point, its technically 10-15 days until the expiration of my pre-approval letter. XXXX has received all documentation she has requested from me and has not mentioned any issues as she is receiving requested documents. My closing date was set for XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX XXXX has not called me to provide any updates related to financing issues. On XX/XX/XXXX she called me to inform me that now, I do not qualify for any loan due to my income decreasing by {$270.00}. As I would think any good, reliable, and savvy Loan Officer would present the Buyer with options on how to work around the minimal change in income to secure the contract that has been put in place. She has made it clear to myself and the new realtor team that I have been working with that she is against the idea of me being approved for a loan to make a home purchase due to personal relationships that would not be gaining from my home purchase. She has displayed unprofessionalism by not communicating properly, intentionally giving misleading information to discourage the purchase of a property. I ask that XXXX XXXX be investigated and have all of her DENIED applications audited to see if there is a trend in her behavior with past clients. She needs to have a neutral position in the home purchasing process as the Lender, and not favor a specific realtor to ensure commissions for them.
