I received a letter from Commonwealth Financial System on XX/XX/2021 charging me the amount of {$760.00} and stating that the original creditor was XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and that current creditor is XXXX XXXX XXXX. I also saw the collection in my credit report from XXXX. I called the collection company because they are using my Social Security but addressed using my Mothers name. We are XXXX and have the same name and last name. When I called, they gave me my mothers date of birth, and I explained that was not me. They said they would call and report the mistake to the credit bureau. My mother also called and reported she had never been at that XXXX place nor have that debt.
