i went to make a phone payment to a company. after i initiated this payment, i got a text msg telling me the payment was not accepted. it was declined. i immediately contacted the company i was making the payment to. and told them since i received notice that payment did not go thru, i made alternate plans to pay, outside of the bank i was using, wells fargo. later that evening, the next day, wells fargo was no longer declining this and pulled the {$450.00}. i nor the company re-initiated a payment request. when i told wells fargo this is their own error, as i only did the right thing contacting the company, telling them it was declined, made other arrangements, etc., thats done. i can not go back. thats over. unfortunately it was not over for wells fargo, they sent payment now telling me to dispute unauthorized transactions, and this is being treated and denied, as if there is some fault of my own, it is not. wells fargo was not to send this payment after telling me they declined it. now they wont give it back and me and the company are good, weve settled the payment. wells fargo needs to give me my money back.
