I was under the assumption based on ads, banners on the website and info in the news that my loan would automatically be put in Covid forbearance starting XXXX of XXXX like a few of my other accounts. When I found out that this was not the case only after my credit took a serious nose dive due to late payments I reached out and was told I had to call in and ask for a forbearance, which I did. I asked if they could at least remove the late payments as the since they can tell that I started missing payments at the start of COVID. I explained that I waXXXX XXXX and had to leave my job out of precaution. I am now back making my payments. My complaint has falling on deaf ears and. Ow I can not refinance my home due to all the late payments from XXXX and XXXX.
