On XX/XX/2021 I received an email from my credit card company that my card had been declined due to insufficient credit from a purchase attempt from XXXX XXXX. I immediately panicked because my card had no balance and I had not attempted to make any purchases. The purchase had been attempted at XXXX XXXX that morning. I immediately checked my credit account and had found that another previous transaction had cleared and posted on XX/XX/XXXX in the amount of {$1500.00}. As soon as possible I called my credit card Company XXXX and reported the fraud. They told me that the early morning transaction that was declined was in the amount of appx {$1400.00}. They took a report and filed a dispute. I contacted the XXXX store right after and via chat id XXXX searched for information on this purchase. The person I talked to was named XXXX. She told me she was unable to locate the transaction but directed me to a link to fill out a form for investigation. Today XXXX said I was denied a refund of the money because there was no proof of fraud. As a direct and proximate result of XXXX XXXX failure to validate that this person was an authorized purchases, I was caused to suffer financial injury.
