Hello, I recently applied for an XXXX XXXX XXXX and was declined for the following reason " You are participating in a payment relief or deferral program, receiving modified terms, or credit counseling services, on one or more of your accounts or loans. '' When trying to look into this on my Experian report. The only deferral I see is on my Federal XXXX Loans which was applied automatically. I was informed under the CARES ACT this should not affect my credit, but appears this is the reason I am not able to get my XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have been trying to resolve this issue with both XXXX XXXX and Experian and each is placing the issue on each other as an error they need to fix.
