Ok, prior to Covid-19 I was current on my mortgage and then due to Covid-19 payments ceased due to not being able to work. Because of the executive order to stay home I had not made a payment for 18 months. I applied for a forbearance plan to provide temporary relief from making my mortgage payments. I was granted the forbearance and my mortgage was paused. As soon as the restriction was eased up, and work resumed I was willing to undertake the responsibility to make payments as my correspondence indicated. This is still my firm commitment. I am not asking for them to reduce my monthly payment just want them to resume my monthly payments as usual and or offer me a " streamline modification ''. I also, offered them {$20000.00} upfront to work with me. However, the only offer I was given in return was either a Deed in Lieu or a Short Sale. I was Denied the Proprietary Modification. I then filed a complaint with the Attorney General 's Office, and this brings me to file with the CFPB.
