Consumer Narrative
Attempted to open a Kabbage Business Checking account in XXXX, but was perpetually asked for additional documents. Log-in for the application was through American Express XXXX I notified Kabbage in early XXXX that I wanted the account/application removed if it could not be opened. I was told that it would be removed within 5 business days. After this period had elapsed, the account/application was still open. After a dozen calls to AmEx and Kabbage, the account/application is still open, both parties refusing to take responsibility.
