Hi, Several years ago when I first got the mortgage I signed up through the Wells Fargo site to have them automatically withdraw my payments in weekly amounts throughout the month before the monthly payment was due. It automatically calculated and adjusted when escrow amounts changed and my mortgage was always paid ahead of time. I recently switched jobs so I deactivated that feature in XX/XX/XXXX and sent checks in XXXX instead. I logged in on XX/XX/XXXX to make sure that they'd received them and saw that while they had received them, my payment was somehow late. It turns out they'd put it all towards principle. I called and they said they would reverse this. I also then noticed that they'd been drawing extra weekly payments from my account ( roughly {$400.00} each time ) every few months and applying them just toward principle. I hadn't noticed before since I'd only reviewed paper statements and thought that was just going to the principle part of my monthly payment. The rep refused to reapply the funds correctly citing that they'd sent the money to investors so it was untouchable. So now I've paid well over the amount I should be paying in a year and yet I am somehow apparently 9 days late on my XXXX payment. They refused to move any of these extra draws into my payment and said I needed to give them several hundred dollars more for XXXX, which I do not have sitting around. I was told that a higher supervisor would call me on XX/XX/XXXX and that did not happen. On XX/XX/XXXX I logged into my account to find that they had reversed my XXXX mortgage payment in addition to the checks that had been applied toward principle. I don't have a clue where that money is at this point and now their site is saying that I've missed my XXXX payment and it's 38 days late.
