I tried to open a high yield savings account advertising .60 % interest. Confirmed via phone call that account could be used for a partnership. Filled out forms and provided ACH transfer details to fund account with {$100.00} which was transferred from my bank account to LendingClub Bank. After the {$100.00} was received by LendingClub Bank they informed me that partnerships could not use a high yield account and that instead they had opened a basic savings account paying .01 % intertest. I requested they close the account and return the {$100.00}. They closed the account but have refused to refund my deposit.
