On XX/XX/XXXX the federal government issued EIP3 payments through direct deposit, I recieved both my EIP1 and EIP2 payments to my correct checking account- but did not receive my EIP3 payment. I immediately filed a payment investigation with the Department of Treasury and the Bureau of Fiscal Services. I engaged both Tax Payer Advocate XXXX **** ( Case # ******* ) and Congresswoman XXXX XXXX via XXXX XXXX XXXX as Wells Fargo Executive Offices were unresponsive in completing the payment investigation with these federal agencies. On XX/XX/XXXX I recieved a response in regard to Congressional Inquiry ******** from Wells Fargo Case Specialist B. " Black '' advising that there was no record of EIP3 payment being deposited into my Wells Fargo Checking account ending in ****. This information was not sufficient for the U.S. Department of Treasury and the Bureau of Fiscal Services as they had confirmed that the payment was not deposited into my account ending in ****, but rather deposited into account **** which is completely unrelated to me. This balance deposited into an alternate account incorrectly, and the amount needs to be recaptured and sent back to the Department of Treasury or the Bureau of Fiscal Services in order for correct payment to be reissued and sent to me. These federal agencies will not reissue payment to me without Wells Fargo 's cooperation in confirming they were sent and successfully deposited to the account in question and then sending the funds back. Due to this mistake I have not had access to {$4200.00} in emergency government funds throughout the pandemic. This issue, unless resolved will also create additional problems in the upcoming tax year.
