I had a collection that had been raised against me by a creditor that purchased my original debt from XXXX. In XXXX and XXXX the case was presented in court, and in XXXX my lawyer presented a motion to quash and the case was dismissed by the judge. Following these events, I requested both XXXX and TransUnion to update this information on their credit reports because it was negatively affecting my credit. XXXX obliged and my credit now reflects the fact that the case was dismissed, ergo my credit is healthy as per their reporting. On the other hand, TransUnion has failed to remove this from my credit report even with multiple, consecutive requests to do so by submitting supporting documents/evidence of the change of status. I have requested TransUnion to update my account XXXX times now. The first XXXX times they processed the request and didn't change my report. The last time I reached out, I once again requested they update my account and stated that if they were unable to oblige that I would have to file a report with the CFPB. They did not change the status of my credit on their report, and this is currently negatively impacting my credit. TransUnion has demonstrated negligence in mending their report of my credit.
