Since XXXX, I have had my check payments " declined '' by three- ( XXXX ) different merchants that use Telecheck XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX all telling me to contact " Telecheck XXXX for an explanation. Coincidently, there was XXXX XXXX the $ amount in my checking account at the time that each check was " declined ''. I have tried more than eleven- ( XXXX ) times, since XXXX, to contact " Telecheck XXXX by both phone and online : XXXX. When I call the given number, XXXX, I enter a merry-go-round of questions which eventually either asks for information already given or advises me to inquire online - never able to talk to a person. XXXX. When I attempt an inquiry online, it asks for my SSN, bank account number, and bank routing number without advising me that it is a secure site. Without all this information, the inquiry can not be submitted. Also, in good faith, I have attempted to contact " Telecheck '' at their XXXX, GA, and XXXX, TX, addresses by XXXX " certified mail '' - sent XXXX. I can only speculate that it is related to an echeck incident at XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/27 which has already been resolved and all NSF fees refunded ; but, I don't know that. Coincidently, XXXX XXXX processed a check on XXXX for a large amount without incident. I am " old school '' and pay my bills by check. I don't want to be embarrased anymore when I hand or send a check for payment and it is " declined ''.
