Beginning the first of XXXX, I received a XXXX bill from XXXX XXXX XXXX for services received in XXXX saying it was past due. I tried & tried to work with them as well as the past employer that should have paid it and got no results. I finally decided to go to the XXXX Department of Labor about the issue. By the end of XX/XX/XXXX, According to The DOL, the Company paid their part of the XXXX claim that they owed and the bill was now paid in full. I called XXXX XXXX XXXX and they stated that it had indeed been settled by the insurance company as it was supposed to be. I have contacted and filed disputes with Experian to get the $ XXXX removed from my credit as it had been paid and the debt collection was not due to my lack of payment, but the insurance company used by the previous employer. It has now been XXXX months since I filed a dispute and have not received anything back from Experian regarding the dispute. It is still on my credit report and is definitely affecting my credit. It looks like it was updated last month, but it is still on my credit. This needs resolved!
