On XX/XX/2021 my spouse and I attempted to refinance our home to pay down debt. I solicited Loan Depot. XXXX XXXX was the " loan originator '' I spoke with that got the process started. I explained to him that we had a very bad experience with a loan servicing company named " XXXX XXXX '' and that we did not with to do any type of business with them. XXXX XXXX promised me that Loan Depot would not sell our home loan, that Loan Depot would be our permanent servicing company going forward. In a three week period, there were three loan estimates that contained multiple errors. XXXX XXXX flat stopped returning my phone calls and failed to respond via email. Additionally, after I submitted proof that I am property tax exempt Loan Depot started coming up with excuses not to move forward ; they wanted thousands for an ESCROW account that included property taxes. After I submitted proof of tax exemption, Loan Depot then said they could not prove I paid my mortgage payments during the last year. Loan Depot charged me up front for a credit report that clearly depicts my loan payments were made. I also had to pay up front for a VA appraisal. When I finally fired Loan Depot, it took me several emails to get my appraisal from them. Also, I did attempt to change offices with Loan Depot but they refused to allow that ; called me " demanding ''.
