Disputing {$50.00} charges on XXXX dates from XXXX XXXX XXXX to my credit card account on XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, and XX/XX/XXXX ( Some charges happened when my credit card was locked ). The amount is in error because, in XXXX of XXXX, I updated my payment method and removed my card from the account. Per the XXXX XXXX XXXX policy, customers can do so if they need to change or update the payment method. Nowhere in the agreement states that the company will keep deleted information and use it later. Furthermore, the company tried to charge my credit card and the other accounts I had on the website. They only tried once to set the monthly fee of {$140.00} once but at no time did I authorize XXXX dollar payments to be withdrawn from my account at any time of their choosing, as they indicated by their false and misleading authorization information. Would you please reach out to XXXX XXXX XXXX and ask them for documentation on where I authorize the {$50.00} charge? Also, I reached out to XXXX XXXX XXXX about the unauthorized charges ( See emails ). I was informed that changing and deleting my past billing information doesnt stop them from charging that account that isn't authorized to be charged. I asked them to stop debiting that account, and they refused. I am requesting that the error be corrected, that any finance or other charges related to the disputed amount be credited to my account, and that I get an accurate statement. I request that Capital One take no further deduction from the credit card account until the notice of termination period has expired. Enclosed are copies of emails I sent regarding this issue supporting my position and experience. Furthermore, looking at my credit card statements, I didnt use that account to make a payment with XXXX XXXX XXXX since I updated my information in XXXX. Please correct the error on my account as soon as possible.
