Capital One is issuing me a new card. The new card has contactless capability as a new feature. I called and requested a card that does not have contactless. They said they do not have those cards anymore and all new cards are contactless. That means theyare putting my information at risk. I work in information security. I have both XXXX and a security clearance with special program access. I know the dangers inherent in a contactless card, and I am horrified that a bank is pushing this on me without any alternative.
