Took XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX up on a 'same as cash ' no-interest credit offer last XXXX. Never rec 'd a statement from them [ they apparently had the wrong e-mail address and did not offer paper statements ] ; On XX/XX/2021, they called, screaming that my account was past due! I immediately paid them everything up to that point that they said I owed them. At that point, they instructed me to schedule a monthly ~ $ XXXX to reach them by the end of each month thereafter, which I did. What they didn't tell me was that they stealthily charged me an XXXX cent " trailing interest charge '' but failed to tell me about it. When they called me in early XXXX, screaming that I was " past due '' for the XXXX cents, as we were talking, the XXXX XXXX agreed at the absurdity of the situation and promptly reversed the XXXX cent charge that I never knew I even owed! All good, right? XXXX ... ..... When I checked my credit report [ which, prior to this fiasco was an XXXX perfect score ], I discovered that XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX had reported that I was " 30 days late '' with my XXXX payment. this of course is false information. I have complained dozens of times to them- they keep apologizing and promising to correct it but they never do! I registered disputes with all three credit bureaus as well. They all told me that the only one in human history that can change this is XXXX XXXX XXXX themselves. Pls. help to get this removed from my credit reports as they simply are not able or willing to really do so.
