Consumer Narrative

Now that the XXXX forebearance is over, I applied with my mortgage company, Wells Fargo Home Mortgage for assistance such as a loan modification or to at least have missed payments put to the end of the loan. They advised me on the initial call back in XXXX that they would not be able to tell me what I qualified for. I had to submit all required documents and they would let me know which assistance I qualified for. Basically, lets put everything in a basket and see what we can do. I had to call again about a week later, after not receiving any word from them as I was advised. They advised me the rep. did not do what he was supposed to and it had to be corrected. Throughout the XXXX month process they have not been contacting me with any updates, as I was told they would. I have been only able to check the XXXX XXXX online to see what documents were needed and to upload them. Now that the decision was made, it doesnt have ANY information. If I had not called them today, I probably would not have known this decision until it was too late and my home would be in foreclosure. Now, after XXXX months they advise me I do not qualify for ANY assistance because I do not make enough money. They can not modify my payment or interest rate and I have to make all the back payments and resume regular payments. If I do not make enough money, how can I repay this lump sum AND resume regular payments?! I was then given information on XXXX sale options. When I became upset and demanded an explanation, he went on to say how I specifically requested the modification and went on to explain it was denied because I do not make enough money. I would only be calling them every month pleading for more help. Be advised this is my XXXX mortgage with them. I qualified almost immediately for my XXXX mortgage, AND the payment and interest rate was reduced. ( I applied for and was approved for the XXXX loan AFTER I applied for this one. ) How do I qualify for modification with the same company for XXXX loan, but not the other?! I would also like to add that I have had this loan for over XXXX years and even when my account was up to date, it has only been reduced by all those years of payments, by {$5000.00}. Also, be advised this is the XXXX time this has occurred with Wells Fargo, where they approve a modification for the main mortgage, but not this one. I feel that they have and still are attempting to steal my home with these questionable actions and your investigation and assistance into the integrity of this loan would be greatly appreciated. thank you
