I am XXXX XXXX and I'm submitting this complaint myself and there is no third party involved. I, XXXX XXXX, consumer, natural person and original creditor sent Capital One a debt validation letter and a cease and desist letter. Both documents were sent onXX/XX/XXXXand received on XX/XX/XXXX. Capital One responded with a request to receive information from me on this alleged debt and stating they can't take action on my request to validate the alleged debt until I send them the information they are requesting. However Capital One continues to send me statements in the mail stating I owe this alleged debt that they obviously can not validate. It doesn't make sense to me that they are sending me statements in the mail telling me to pay something that they can not validate. Capital One has failed to report that this alleged debt is being disputed pursuant to 15 USC 1692g ( b ). Capital One continues to try to collect on the disputed debt and has not cease to communicate with me. Capital One has harmed myself and credit report and file by housing unverified and unvalidated debt on my consumer report and for that they are civilly liable to pay me for damages.
