Navy federal credit union has marked a late payment remark on my credit report this is inaccurate and they refuse to fix this issue. My account was set up on auto pay until i lost my job. I spoke with a rep on XX/XX/XXXX. She asked if i needed assistance because she noticed XXXX bill had not been paid. My bill is due on the XXXX of every month. I sent payments in every XXXX weeks until i lost my job. XXXX days after i missed my payment i set up a payment arrangement that would allow me to become current for XXXX and XXXX. My next payment was not due until XX/XX/XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX navy federal reported my open end credit plan as 120 days late. USC 1666a states open end credit plans can not be marked as late. i mentioned that to the rep as well as the fact that i was never XXXX days late. I have called and spoke with several reps and no one is willing to help. Last rep hung up on me when asking why did are they mis reporting my information .She told me to file a complaint and file a dispute. This is unfair to me as a consumer, my information should be reported complete and accurate. I want this information deleted from my credit report.
