I have a credit card with TD Bank, and periodically they send me balance transfer checks. I called TD Bank today to opt out of receiving these ( for the XXXX time ), and they said that they had " turned off '' the sending of these checks for my account in XXXXXXXX XXXX ( after I had called about this issue back then ), and that there was nothing more they could do. I have continued to receive these checks every few months since XXXXXXXX XXXX, most recently as about a week ago. They did not provide me a reason why I am forced to continue receiving these checks. Were they to get into the wrong hands, I could be at financial risk.
