This is the 2nd time a collection agency has attempted to collect debt from me for a phone service that isn't mine. I have never been a XXXX customer. The first time was XX/XX/XXXX with XXXX XXXX and now Diversified ADJ SVC is claiming to collect money. The amount is for {$2200.00}. I didn't even get any mail or emails from this collection agency stating I owe anything, it just showed up on my credit report one day. It was opened on XX/XX/XXXX but I didn't get a notification until early Nov with XXXX XXXX I tried disputing it with XXXX credit report dispute on XX/XX/XXXX and they said I needed further investigation. The original Creditor name is XXXX XXXX listed on my credit report. How do I resolve this so it does not happen again?
