Consumer Narrative
Once again I am opening a complaint against Equifax, since the XXXX closed my last one without a single thing being fixed. Equifax has been injecting errors into my reports and their responses for XXXX months. Every time I have worked to correct those errors, they have made excessive soft pulls on my credit report, as a way to punish me for trying to fix their errors that they injected. My former complaint : COMPLAINT ID : XXXX was not resolved in any way whatsoever. They are sending letters to me by addressing me with the WRONG NAME on their address labels, and the WRONG NAME on their greeting. They have not fixed this whatsoever. I had also specifically requested that they not make any pulls on my credit score, and remove the excessive pulls they had made without fixing their errors. They ignored both. They pulled my credit again and they have not removed the excessive pulls they made before - meaning more than XXXX pulls on my credit in the last XXXX months, sometimes XXXX TIMES PER DAY, often XXXX TIMES PER DAY, and/or at least once per day for consecutive days. I have photos to share of all these issues, if you provide a way to share them. I also attached photos to my XXXX complaint against them, but they ignored everything I was saying and just tried to close both complaints, which simply won't work. I will continue to escalate and confront this until it is fixed. XXXX needs to grasp that Equifax is injecting errors into consumers reports and not fixing them, but instead penalizing the consumer for confronting their mistakes by making excessive pulls on the consumer 's credit. Then they try to cross-sell the consumer to pay them money to get their credit report fixed " faster '' - which is tantamount to a business model based on holding someone's credit XXXX and demanding a ransom. It is not acceptable to me that I made a complaint with XXXX and the entire thing wasn't remedied even slightly. These are not minor mistakes - my name is not a matter of opinion. It must be corrected. And Equifax should not be allowed to make excessive pulls on a consumer 's credit without fixing a single thing for XXXX months. It is both an issue of taking way more than XXXX days to fix something, and also not fixing the consumer 's issue all. PLEASE DO NOT CLOSE THIS COMPLAINT UNTIL I HAVE CONFIRMED IT IS ACTUALLY FIXED.
