To Whom It May Concern ; This to file a complaint to XXXX XXXX Apartment located in XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX CA XXXX, this an apartment facility where we leave for a year from XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX. I have all copy of all the payments that i made thru my XXXX XXXX checking account as a proof that i am paying my monthly apartment rental since start to the end of my contract on XX/XX/XXXX. Last XXXX months ago, I received a call from Genesis Collection agency advising me that i have a debt or unpaid bills from XXXX XXXX Apartments amounting to {$XXXX}, this is unpaid mortgage rentals from XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX at first I thought that it was a prank or sort of prank calls that wanted my Name and my personal information but when I double check it thru my credit karma account and XXXX, the Collection agency was on my account as well as my credit score abruptly affected on this credit reporting. Since last month I tried calling the XXXX XXXX apartment but they are not cooperative and insisting that I am responsible for the debt. I am explaining to them that how that possible for me to rent an apartment in XXXX XXXX while I am working in XXXX XXXX since XX/XX/XXXX to present and left the XXXX XXXX Apartment on XX/XX/XXXX. I called the Corporate office of the XXXX XXXX XXXX but I had the same treatment with no cooperation at their side they advise me to call collections agency and to pay for the debt amounting to {$XXXX}. I think that this Apartment Facility, XXXX XXXX didnt ask any documentation from the renters who replaced us when we finished our contracts, they asked the new tenants to use our personal information to rent the apartment, since the new Manager XXXX told me over the phone that they used the same XXXX XXXX and always pays cash every month and issued a receipt to the tenants under my name, and I saw to from the letter from the collection agency my name and the full details of the account. So I wanted to file a complaint to this Apartment facility to clear my name and i want them to call the collection agency to cancel any collection on my name and also sent a clearance to the Credit bureau to remove delete and clear my name on this debt. I want to request for this facility to issue a confirmation letter thru registered mail confirming that i have no obligations moving forward for this debt. I want to reiterate for the last time, that I didn't have any idea on this debt since i was residing in XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX, I am ready to send all proof of documents as per request. Thank you
