Due to the databreach at Equifax I believe I have been victim to ongoing identity theft. I am unable to verify my identity with XXXX e-verify as well as any service which uses Equifax. I have repeatedly contacted Equifax by phone to unlock my account which locked me out of the ability to login for over a year. I refuse to send Equifax copies of my personal identification by mail for verification. I do not trust Equifax nor do I consent to them having or using my personal data. Because of the data breach at Equifax my financial life is severely damaged and I will not send them anything as they can not be trusted. I have no issues verifying my identity with XXXX XXXX or XXXX. However Equifax has false adverse actions on my report which I need to review and can not. I am able to provide correct answers to all my verification requirements by phone however they demand these documents which I refuse to provide. I have explained time and time again that I need to verify what fraudulent adverse accounts are being shared by Equifax. I have verified my identity with the XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX in person and Equifax could easily check public records to verify facts like property ownership and LLC EIN or any other info. I refuse to send them my license and ssn # cards. How can I know they will not misplace or improperly dispense of those copies? I do not trust them. They are required by law to provide my report and that report is filled with fraudulent information which I am unable to address due to Equifax failure to keep my information safe.
