I have a store credit card through Wells Fargo for a Mini Blind company that installed some window coverings in my home. This card has been very difficult to set up as auto payment. On several occasions i have worked with the customer service department from Wells Fargo to try and set up auto debit. i am unable to set it up on my own since i do not have the credit card issued to me. I was told the first time back in XXXX that a new card would be mailed out and i could set up auto pay myself online. This did not happen. I got a call from a rep that the payment was doing to be late, so i had the rep help me submit payment over the phone and then asked again if she could help me. She this time said she could submit a request and it should work. I feel like this issue is finally resolved and fined out in XXXX that the payment is going to be late 30 days if i do not pay it over the phone. Please keep in mind all of these conversations with a rep are from the XXXX. Frustrated, i tell her to pay for both months payments, the previous month that is at risk and the next month. then i ask to be transferred to a United States rep or supervisor. The Agent does and this is why im told that since the payment is being submitted on the 29th day, there is a chance it will process and be reported late 30 days. I advised the rep that this is not fair to me since im paying it within the time limit and my records should already show how much of a struggle this account has been. I still do not have a actual card mailed to me and i do not have faith in the resolution of another attempt at setting up auto payment. She assures me that she is going to send my escalated requested to their department that handles credit reporting. when i finally get a chance to speak with the escalation agent XXXX. She tells me that she would have to go back and try to listen to the calls but it doesnt look like there are any recorded calls for my account in the past. i feel abandoned and given the short end of the stick here. My credit report has a 30 day late and this has caused my credit report to drop 47 points. This has impacted my ability to refinance my car and my home. I really need your support here to help resolve this matter.
