Good afternoon, I am in the middle of refinancing my home. It was brought to my attention that Ally financial is reporting a debt due on my credit report from on or around 2014. I have disputed this in the past. On Monday, XX/XX/XXXX I called Ally financial directly and was told that the account was paid in full and that there was a XXXX balance. This lines up with my accounting. I asked that they please send me a paid in full letter via fax. Ally financial said that they would however never did. I called back last Thursday and was transferred to about XXXX different people so Im telling me it was paid in full sun telling me it was sold to another company so Im telling me that there was a balance so Im telling me they had no idea what I was talking about. My account with Ally financial was paid in full and was always in good standing. Yep they continue to report an accurate information over and over on my credit report
