Capital one sent me ads in the mail for months for their XXXX credit card, they said I would get a {$200.00} sign-up bonus after spending {$500.00}. Eventually, I applied for the card with their reference number from those ads and got it and spent over {$500.00} but they won't give me the {$200.00} sign-up bonus. Apparently, this is common, a lot of people on XXXX post about how capital one will tell you while the card is advertised with this sign-up bonus you don't get to have it because your account didn't qualify or something. I called, I was nice, they wouldn't credit me or anything.
