Lease was extended once. At end of extension I had hardship situation, my mother passed away. Vehicle was repossessed. I was able to finance the balance due in order to redeem my vehicle. Redemption process very hard, initially wouldn't provide a pay-off letter or sign an odometer statement. Loan was approved payment was sent overnight, however agent XXXX stated to use Suite numbeXXXX instead of box for delivery. It was a lockbox. They refused to reach out to XXXX XXXX ( lockbox holder ) to find payment for application. I contacted directly and finally had release for vehicle. These delays to 5 days, impound lot charged {$50.00} per day, costing me {$250.00} Upon payment application they started to send me auction house, then back to impound lot, but they sent incorrect paperwork twice, taking up half a day for me to retrieve vehicle. They did send me the title with the lien release, but they will not provide me with a bill of sale. I have called twice requesting this.The state of Texas will not issue a new title with lien to my new lender without that. The loan docs only show what I borrowed, but do not show if any additional payments might be made. Documentation of the exact amount is required to collect the vehicle sales tax. The payment included repossession fees. They are now stating I owe an additional {$320.00} even though I have a letter that came with the title stating paid in full. They will not provide an accounting or invoice for these extra fees. This is showing on my credit reports as a charge-off, but it is in fact paid in full. This same credit reporting also shows a balance due of XXXX KIA Motors Finance team doesn't not appear equipped to assist someone in redeeming their vehicle if they have the means to satisfy the balance.
