I used the forbearance plan with freedom mortgage. The whole time they told me that there would no fees. I was placed in what I thought was a government loan repayment which I was told it would just go to the end of the loan. They sent a letter saying I was denied, when I called they said the had started an application and was just using my old info and they never sent me anything. They said I dont need to send anything in. Freedom mortgage said they lowered my payment to {$1800.00} a month with a modification to my loan. I thought great. When I revived the paperwork it had a XXXX XXXX lien that would be added to my house. They never told me that, would happen and now they are jerking me around, and if I dont sign they could force me to foreclose in my house by making me pay everything back at once. I have documents stating that no fees would be charged. They are also giving short turnaround date and if you miss it then they think you will pay everything at once. There is more also. I wonder how many people are they doing this too? Or people who dont read there documents and are trusting them to do the right thing. Freedom mortgage is trying to intentionally take peoples homes. Thank you
