My name is XXXX XXXX XXXX and I am filing this complaint against Capital One on my own behalf, as a Natural Person and Federally Protected Consumer, without any connection or involvement with a third party. On XX/XX/2021, I submitted a validation of debt letter asking Capital One to provide the following information within XXXX days : * The name and address of the creditor to whom the debt is currently owed, the account number used by that creditor, and the amount owed. * An explanation showing me how you have computed the amount. * Copies of any documents that prove I agreed to pay the alleged amount * The identity of the original creditor * Confirmation that the account has not crossed the statute of limitation ( SOL ) period I informed them that if they were unable to provide the above information within the XXXX day period then the account information must be completely deleted from my credit report, and a copy of such deletion request should be sent to me at once, or I will take legal action and consider them in breach of the Fair Reporting Credit Act ( F.C.R.A. ) and the F.D.C.P.A.. I have attached the letter I sent ( exhibit A ) with the certified mail receipt ( exhibit B ) confirming they did receive my letter. I also filed an identity theft report that is attached.
