On XX/XX/2021, a dispute letter was submitted via mail and fax to Transunion, XXXX and XXXX in reference to the Bankruptcy listed which is inaccurate on my credit reports. I have allowed substantial time to resolve my concern due to the pandemic. I have also contacted the Courts as well and they advised me they do not report to the Credit Bureaus. If the Courts do not report to the Credit Bureaus, how is this listed on my credit report? By FCRA law, all Credit Bureaus are required to validate/verify information BEFORE it is added to a consumer credit report. The Bankruptcy listed is in violation of FCRA not only because the courts do not report information to the Credit Bureaus but by law the Bankruptcy must report City, State and Court Name which it doesn't. This Bankruptcy is negatively impacting my ability to secure new credit and or purchase a home. I request full removal and an updated copy of my credit report mailed to me.
