Refund Request To whom it may concern, I closed on my refinance on XXXX the funds to payoff Lakeview were wired and received on XXXX. Please see the attached confirmation from XXXX XXXX to confirm when the wire was received. The XXXX payment was included in the payoff on XXXX that you received. I received a letter from Lakeview stating that I needed to make a payment or Lakeview would report to my credit. Therefore, on XXXX I made the payment. After speaking to my current lender, they advised that I did not need to make that payment as it was in the payoff that they sent to Lakeview on XXXX. With this being said, I need for you to send me my full payment I sent in error on XXXX. I was told by a representative, XXXX, that I needed to write a letter and also include the proof that you had the wire 2 full business days prior to XX/XX/XXXX and therefore you would not need any additional funds from me. XXXX, also stated that Lakeview did not receive the payoff until XXXX, this is inaccurate as you can see with this attachment. I am NOT responsible for the delay in which XXXX XXXX receives funds and then moves it over to the payoff department. This is something that your company will need to handle on your side. I expect a full refund for what was paid in XXXX as my overpayment. I have a Ledger Report showing it was paid on XX/XX/2021 which is 2 days prior to the end of month. I can show proof at a later time as there is to much private information on it to share here.
