I have made all the necessary communications with all entities which had recorded wrong and/or misspelled names such as missing name part, inversions between given and family names etc. This has been requiring lots of energy, times and money. Now after this tedious cleaning process we still see in Experian records and their successive credit history eidtions many of these errors and inaccuracies persisting and not being flushed, although we did submit in various occasion our proof of ID, residence, all bearing the very right and full spelling at the perfectly right address. Most important, as my full name is made of a combination of extremely common given names and family patronyms, every inversions, substitutions, omissions, or misspelling are particularly prejudicial, dangerous and are opening doors to the highest risk of identity spoofing and, at least will induce a mix with other existing individual sharing some near name combinations. As the mission of a credit bureau, being one critical tier of trust in numerous transactions of the daily life, one of its main commitment and civil responsibility before citizens is to ensure the best identity integrity and protection. In my particular case it is very relevant that Experian removes rapidly all sources of identity confusion, all risk of ID spoofing and ensure they do efficiently and actively contribute to synchronize with all meshed systems a unique and correct patronym associated to my SSN. And not the other way around, that is to say being an agent propagating mistakes by leaving tiers which do query the credit bureau record with erroneous answers ( Eg. confirming that my SSN is associated to another person who shares part of my name. ) The credit bureau can not be a dictionary and a register of all past mistakes. Lastly, as Experian do not provide the precise list of furnishers by ID number which keep and report erroneous data they leaves us without any means and without any recourses to duly act and protect our identity efficiently when our names and patronymes are so common.
