During the stated time the account was said to be open ( XX/XX/XXXX ) and up to now, I've been trying to get California Check Cashing to give me more information and the validation of the debt. Moreover, they immediately sent the loan into collections without giving me time to see what the issue was. Unfortunately, I was charged an outrageous APR at the time, and there were no attempts to check in on what happened. During this time, I was going to a stage of financial hardship, and having this go through collections dampened my ability to get further aid as it lowered my credit score. I looked through my records, and it appears as though the attempt to collect debt was at XX/XX/XXXX. While this was only a small amount of debt ( XXXX ), but the collection hurts my overall credit score despite the fact that I have already cleared the debt.
