On XXXX, XXXX, 2021, I paid my monthly car payment to XXXX XXXX XXXX via their app as I have every month - using the same bank account - as I always have. On XXXX XXXX, 2021, my credit monitoring services started alerting me to delinquent account from XXXX XXXX XXXX. This one error plunged my credit score by in excess of XXXX points on all three credit bureaus. I checked my bank account and no payment had been presented- and even if it had, my bank would have paid the overdraft. In addition, in the 20 days, XXXX XXXX XXXX never alerted me - via phone call, text, email or even within the app - that the payment had failed due to the faulty app. This error caused my auto payment to be marked as delinquent when it was not. XXXX acknowledged that the error was theirs and that they had been having problems with the app. The customer service rep told me she sent a corrected credit market to the 3 credit bureaus to correct this problem. I explained that I needed this corrected immediately ( within 48 hours ) as I had applied for a mortgage, and had paid all my credit cards off to enhance my credit score, in preparation for my monthly update to my credit score on XX/XX/2021. I have checked incessantly and this error has not been corrected. In fact, a call to XXXX XXXX XXXX indicated that I would have to write a letter - and send via regular mail -explaining the error to get it corrected. This is unconscionable. Please get this derogatory credit mark off my credit report as soon as possible - my mortgage and earnest money deposit are in jeopardy.
