On XX/XX/21, I received a package from USPS. It was addressed to me from TD Bank. It appeared to be checks, which I knew was suspicion as I do not have a TD Bank account. I opened the package and confirmed that it contained checks with my name and address but not my phone number. I immediately called TD Bank, explained that I received checks from them but didn't bank with them, and advised that the checks had my information but a suspicious phone number. I was transferred to their fraud department. The rep in the fraud department made a notation in the system, closed the account in my name and directed me to contact FTC, SSA and the 3 major credit bureaus. I made no further inquiries about the account at TD Bank as I didn't open it.
