I leased a vehicle from Carvana in XXXX, I was making my payments fine. It came time for me to get my hard tag and I was told that it was a delay. They provided me with a temp tag that was registered in the state of Arizona. I got pulled over by XXXX County Sheriff, they accused me of stealing the car and presenting false documentation. They ended up giving me a ticket for no tag and told me not to ever present that tag again. I then reached out to the XXXX XXXX who informed me that Carvana never finished the paperwork to even begin the registration process. Come to find out they put the wrong state sales tax on the paperwork according to them. I informed them then that until they make this right, I would not make another payment to them. The temp tag they provided me with expired XX/XX/XXXX I was then told by Carvana that they were not going to do anything about the tag until I paid, but even once I do that, it would be 1-3 months before they may be able to still get the car registered and they would end up taking the car back and swapping it, or taking the car back and giving me my money back. I then told them why not come pick up the car now and give me my money back now because code enforcement came around and was going to cite me for that vehicle being in my yard with no tag. They sent me a another temp tag Tuesday registered in Arizona again, but then came and towed the car last night. Please help me, or point me in the direction of someone who possibly can.
