I started the re fi loan process with Loan Depot and the person I initially spoke to was XXXX XXXX ( Licensed Lending officer ) who took my information told me I would be able to qualify. I then scanned and emailed all necessary documents to him. This process started on XXXX XXXX. Then I get a call from XXXX XXXX ( XXXX Incubation Manager ) and she was very professional and explained the process and if I had any questions to please contact her. On XX/XX/XXXX, I started another correspondence with XXXX XXXX, Senior account Manager who is requesting more documents which I emailed. She then tells me that I need to do a profit and loss statement. I told her I am a sub contractor and don't own a business and I use a 1099. She said a contractor is self employed and she said to look on XXXX profit and loss samples and complete one. Without this the loan could not move forward. I have never had to do anything like this for a refi. I am guessing this is just another attempt at bait and switch tactics. I am asking for the reimbursement of the {$21.00} fee for credit report and emailing and scanning fees from XXXX which amounted to {$34.00}. I told XXXX XXXX to have XXXX XXXX call me on XX/XX/XXXX and I will address my concerns to her, I have not heard from anyone from Loan Depot yet.
