On XX/XX/2021 I submitted a dispute letter concerning TransUnion case : XXXX, Chapter XXXX Bankruptcy. On XX/XX/XXXX TransUnion sent me a response stating that the above item was " verified '' stating that they or a " third party we hire '' check " applicable court records ''. On XX/XX/2021 I contacted TransUnion knowing that the previous dispute letter sent on XX/XX/2021 had correspondence from the Court stating that they do not report to credit reporting companies. Despite this XXXX said the the Court verified the item. This was on XX/XX/2021 at approx XXXX EST. I was then transferred to a XXXX XXXX who claimed to be a supervisor ( around XXXX EST ) who stated that the Court verified it. After discussing with him the correspondence I had from the Court, revealing their lie he then said it was a third party they hired. I asked for the name, address, and phone number of this third party vendor in connection with this investigation as per The Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), 611 ( a ) ( 6 ) ( iii ) states : if requested by the consumer, a description of the procedure used to determine the accuracy and completeness of the information shall be provided to the consumer by the agency, including business name and address of any furnisher of information contracted in connection with such information and the phone number of such furnisher if reasonably available. He denied me this information, I was then told that I would be transferred to someone else but instead the line was dropped. I called back where I spoke with XXXX ( around XXXX EST ) who would also deny me information that would help me get clarity on how they " investigated '' my dispute in this matter.
