FORBEARANCE from the pandemic has now turned into a foreclosure! My payments were current each and every month until XXXX of 2021. I applied for forbearance and was granted a forbearance. I extended the forbearance another 90 days to XX/XX/2021. I had requested to exit forbearance this month in XX/XX/2021 as I was offered a solution of a reduced interest rate to 2.58 % and extend the loan term to 40 years. I have recently been informed that my loan is in foreclosure and I owe nearly {$19000.00}! The mortgage statement for XX/XX/2021 also reflects that XXXX and XX/XX/2021 were included in the forbearance, yet I did not request forbearance assistance until XX/XX/2021. My good credit rating does not exist anymore and this is not how the forbearance is supposed to work.
