While applying for a Mortgage Loan I discovered a significant amount of accounts, charges, inquiries, and negative reports on all three of the credit reporting agencies ' credit reports. I immediately began disputing the errors and followed the proper procedures in getting all the disputed items cleared from my report. I have been only slightly successful and getting the matter cleared up. I have filed a FTC identity theft report and sent certified copies to each reporting agency along with some creditors and have closely monitored my own reports watching for changes. I have received several letters for XXXX, XXXX, and TransUnion using stall tactics in the correspondence stating they are unable to clear up the matters with statements like my documents were blurry or unclear, or the accounts have been validated etc. When asked to provide evidence of how they validated, I've received nothing and its been over 30+ days since sending the request. I feel like my legal rights have now been violated and their lack of response accordingly is now costing me several thousand dollars since im unable to obtain adequate housing and remain homeless due to low credit scores caused solely from the identity theft keeping me from gaining a mortgage. Due to the severity of the damage, its causing I want the agency held accountable for the violation of my rights and this report is only one way I plan to seek justice. I have the intent of also filing lawsuits of all parties involved including reporting agencies, credit collectors, and credit debtors and all other parties involved. I am hopeful this report will encourage the reporting agency to comply with the rules and laws and update my credit report asap.
