I am a victim of Identity Theft and have extended fraud alerts which I will admit does help protect my credit by declining credit applications but nothing is done about the inquiries from the attempts at getting credit in my name. The accounts are getting denied but the inquiries are remaining ; I have sent my police report, identity theft report and proof of ID to all bureaus requesting those inquiries are removed and they always fail to respond to me or remove the inquiries.
