I authorize Carvana and associates to respond to this complaint in its entirety I XXXX XXXX am a consumer under federal law no third party is involved when creating this complaint. I applied to Carvana with the intent to initiate a consumer transaction. After I reserved one car your company told me I could not afford the first and needed to select another I than chose another vehicle while my employer is giving me a grace period to return to work time goes by and the vehicle chosen was still not available a month later, I ask your customer service reps will I still be approved for the vehicle or if I should choose a new vehicle. They stated I would be fine. I chose a new vehicle and now I am unable to get the vehicle or able to return to work because my job requires a vehicle. We sort the matter out and moved on to verification I verified who I was with multiple documents they told me the documents could not be used because they stated Street ( St. ) instead of Avenue ( Ave. ) which the us postal systems manage that information and says it is ok as long as the zip code is a match. After I sent in all documents I called the staff so they could allow me to know if the documents were eligible for approval the guy stated yes and he approved them. Told me congratulations we will send you a congratulations email and or text letting you know your vehicle will be arriving XX/XX/XXXX. I even started an insurance policy on the XXXX XXXX XXXX with XXXX XXXX because I was given the ok that this vehicle would be mine. I then receive a cancelation email from XXXX stating they will no longer approve my consumer transaction even when I already paid for the vehicle with my signature on the promissory note or contract which under 18 U.S. Code 8 - Obligation or other security of the United States defined https : XXXX Also this was deceptive and unfair practices 16 CFR 433.2 - Preservation of consumers ' claims and defenses, unfair or deceptive acts or practices.https : XXXX2 UCC 3-402. SIGNATURE BY REPRESENTATIVE. https : XXXX # XXXX If the represented person is bound, the signature of the representative is the " authorized signature of the represented person '' and the represented person is liable on the instrument, whether or not identified in the instrument. I have more violations with supporting exhibits that will be used in the Affidavit Of Truth and intent letter if this matter can not be resolved.
