In or around XXXX of XXXX I lost my job due to Covid 19. I started to fall short on funds so I contacted a representative from Credit Acceptances customer service department and told them about my job loss and falling hard on funds and they instructed me to jus pay as I could and they wouldnt be sending anyone out to repossess the car nor would it effect my credit profile. Months later Im caught up on all payments put have 7 late payments on my credit report. Ive contacted then several times even tried disputing through the credit bureaus and its still reporting on my credit and Im not really getting a clear response from credit acceptance as to why. Ive even recently sent goodwill letters to the company asking them to forgive me for my late payments and Im still awaiting a response. This is the only thing effecting my credit profile and holding me back from purchasing my home in XXXX. Even with this issue I still would recommend this company to others as it is a great way to build credit with an auto loan. Im hoping we can get this matter resolved promptly.
