Account : XXXX In Wells Fargos response, the company is blatantly dishonest in its assertion that the unapplied funds were applied towards the escrow account. An examination of the mortgage statements that Ive attached with the previous complaint indicates that the unapplied payments served as recorded overpayments and they remained unapplied towards my escrow account or the mortgage balance. I would like Wells Fargo to point out where in any of its mortgage statements that indicates that these overpayments were indeed applied towards my mortgage balance, escrow account, or refunded to me. Wells Fargo is unable to do so because, based on Wells Fargos own mortgage statements, these overpayments were essentially UNAPPLIED and kept by the bank as additional profit. This is tantamount to highway robbery in broad daylight, goliathan bank taking advantage of the puny and defenseless consumer. I would like a refund of the overpayment of {$12000.00} as described in my first complaint.
