Consumer Narrative

I was XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. I provided both of my insurance cards on the date of treatment. I did not receive any hospital bills. In XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX whom I do not have a contract with placed a collection account on my credit reports for {$1400.00} on the behalf of XXXX XXXX XXXX. I disputed the validity of the account and also reminded XXXX XXXX that they were in violation of the HIIPA Laws. XXXX XXXX could not validate this alleged debt but instead sold my personal information to XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX is now trying to also collect the same debt for {$1400.00} on the behalf of XXXX XXXX XXXX. I did not authorize nor sign any records for XXXX XXXX XXXX to share my personal information with any third party company. The date of service in question I provided insurance cards to the hospital. I have proof of coverage for the date in question. I have proof from my insurance company that XXXX XXXX group did not make a claim for the referenced amount for that date nor the time frame allotted to file a claim. I spent one hour on the phone with XXXX XXXX XXXX representative and he agreed my insurance was not billed but I would need to show proof I was insured at the time in which I did the date of service physically and the MyChart application for billing shows both of my insurances. Ive contacted my insurance companies to obtain proof again in which MBA Law knows and XXXX XXXX XXXX. I spoke with MBA Law who could not validate the bill but stated if I show proof of insurance for the time in question MBA will stop trying to collect. Ive provided proof of insurance to both companies however this medical collection has damaged my credit profile. MBA bought my personal information from XXXX XXXX who bought my personal medical information from XXXX XXXX XXXX is a violation of my rights. Ive asked MBA Law to Cease however the company has not. Im not responsible for this debt as previously stated. XXXX XXXX XXXX has and always had my insurance information on file. I provided my insurance ID Card at the date of visit. I had and still have insurance coverage. I have proof my insurance was not billed on the listed charges by XXXX XXXX XXXX. I did not authorize XXXX XXXX XXXX to disclose my personal health information with MBA Law or XXXX XXXX who are trying to collect on the behalf of XXXX XXXX XXXX for a null and void bill based off XXXX XXXX XXXX negligence.
