On numerous occasions over the past six months, beginning XX/XX/2021, I've attempted to contact Equifax to get personal information and unauthorized inquires removed from my profile with them. I am repeatedly ignored. Per the FCRA, only accurate and updated information is to be on any consumer report. I've sent letters and I've tried to call. Equifax refuses to comply with FCRA guidelines and is violating my consumer rights. First, they have an inaccurate address listed that they refuse to remove even though I've sent proof of what my address is. Second, they refuses to remove the personal 'statement ' they've placed on my file even though I did not ask or authorize said statement. Third, they refuse to remove the inquiries I've addressed even when I've sent them copy of FTC report and copy of corresponding FCRA section that pertains to removing unauthorized inquiries. In fact, instead of removing the inquiries they placed a fraud alert/freeze on my report that I did not ask for or authorize.
