To whom it may concern, I recently asked you to verify information contained in my credit file in which I have provided proof that the you used to allegedly verify this item was invalid. Item in question : Chapter XXXX bankruptcy Case XXXX I have previously sent you notice that your process was not valid due to me going directly to the company and them not being able to verify the item. You replied and stated it was still verified without sending me any documentation or proof of an actual investigation. I know per the FCRA I have to give you 30 days to correct a known mistake within my credit file and at this point you have been granted that time, this is a formal notification that I am filing a formal complaint with CFPB against you and your company since this bankruptcy has not been deleted from my credit report IMMEDIATELY! Additionally, XXXX has publish documentation on their website confirming that they indeed provide your company, Equifax, with bankruptcy case information and you use them to verify information regarding bankruptcy cases. XXXX XXXX has not been able to verify the accuracy of the bankruptcy and has removed the item from my file. Finally, the U.S. Bankruptcy court does not verify or furnish data to credit bureaus. You have been reporting inaccurate and unverified information within my credit file several years and after multiple disputes allegedly verifying inaccurate information as accurate.
